Fudge

  • 1 (7 oz) Jar marshmallow cream 
  • 1 ½ C sugar
  • ⅔ C evaporated milk
  • ¼ C butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 (11.5 oz) package of milk chocolate chips (2 C)
  • 1 (6 oz) package semisweet chocolate chips  (1 C)  or use all milk
  • ½ C chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla

In large pan combine marshmallow cream, sugar, milk, butter, and salt.  Bring to a fast boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly.  Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly over moderate heat.  Remove from heat and add chocolate.  Stir until melted.  Add vanilla and nuts.  Pour into 8 inch square foil lined pan.
