Breakfast Cake

Cake batter:                         Honey Topping:

4 C flour  (2                             1 1/2 C sugar (6 Tbsp)

1 ½ C sugar (3                        3/4 C milk (3 Tbsp)

4 tsp baking powder (2           3/4 C butter (3 Tbsp)

 1 tsp salt (1/2)                        3/4 C honey (3 Tbsp)

1 C butter (1/2)

2 eggs and milk to make 2 C (1 and to make 1 c)

2 tsp vanilla (1)

 

For batter: sift dry ingredients together.  Cut in the butter.  Beat in the egg, milk & vanilla.  Spread in 9×13 (maybe bigger if doing full recipe)

For topping: stir all ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a boil.  Spread on the cake.

Bake at 400 for 30-35 min.
