Serves 40-50
- 2 jars of bottled sauerkraut (I use Claussens)
- 2 raw potatoes
- 1 onion
- 6 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ham juice (or juice from Little Smokies)
- 1/2 to 1 cup of diced ham (or Little Smokies)
Grate raw potatoes and onion and saute in small amount of cooking until it forms a paste. Add drained sauerkraut, juice, meat, and brown sugar. Simmer on low? for 1/2 hour.
